How to Reset Animal Crossing

Easily start a brand-new island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Nintendo Switch

Do you want to delete your Animal Crossing: New Horizons island and start over? Whether you want to reset your island for new villagers, a different layout, or a fresh experience, you can easily do so in a few simple steps. Be warned—you cannot retrieve the data once you reset your island. All data will be erased, and you'll be given a blank slate. You can keep resetting your island to reroll for specific layouts, fruit, or villagers.
