How to Turn Off Message Notifications on an iPhone
To turn off message notifications on an iPhone, Open Settings → Tap on → Tap → Toggle “Allow Notifications” to off.

- Toggle off "Show in Notification Center". This will disable Message notifications from showing up in the center when you access it by swiping down from the top of the screen.
- Toggle off "Badge App Icon". Doing so will disable the notification that pops up next to the app's icon on your home screen.
- Toggle off "Show on Lock Screen". Doing so will disable notifications from popping up on the lock screen while your phone is not in use.
